Durham Book Club: DBCwrites

I just joined the Student Leadership Team, and I love it because we get to help lead the fun. From picking out the books we read to helping with in-person meetings, it's so fun and great for meeting new people. Evie joined Durham Book Club's Student Leadership Team in 2023 and is currently a part of the Marketing Team, helping out with the website, and the Planning Team.

We're always looking for new people to join our Teams, and we wanted to share some of our experiences with YOU so you know what we do and how we work together. One of my favorite things in the world is reading so I was naturally very excited to learn we had a book club here in Durham. Being able to connect with people over books we all enjoyed is a wonderful thing. One of my favorite parts of DBC is fun activities that are cleverly tied into the books we have been reading. I also love being able to talk with the authors and ask the questions I’d been dying to know after completing their book.
